An optimal golf trainer: A simulator that helps the player to find his perfect swing. This innovation has been very successfully presented twice. The first time, it was presented in the European Lépine competition in the year 2015. The second time, one year later, it was awarded with two gold medals in the competition for innovations, one silver medal from the ministry for agriculture and one other gold medal from the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation). An action radius has to be created with curved guide rail in a rotary design.This action radius enables a continuous and circle formed guiding over a length of 12.80 with a radius of about 3.00 m in width.It is accompanied by three axes, which are depicted in a three-dimensional room. It needs to be curved in a large radius and the bending points need to correspond with the real motion sequence of the professional golf player. The technology from igus® from the drylin® series has proven effective. The linear polymer rail is corrosion-resistant and ideal for outdoor applications and is customer-specifically offered as a curved version by igus®.
